BE ONE Health Day

BE ONE Health Day at Adams Park – 15th July

Wycombe Wanderers Foundation is excited to announce the launch of a NEW annual fundraising event.

The inaugural BE ONE Health Day will take place on Saturday 15th July at Adams Park, with a variety of health and well-being activities for the entire family and a physical challenge for everyone, the most difficult of which being a marathon walk in honour of Wycombe Wanderers FC Legend, John Reardon.

Every penny raised from the event will go directly back into our community and support the launch of a new ‘No More Falls’ programme – a core fitness programme geared towards the over 65’s aimed at reducing the number of trips and falls, extremely common at that age, which cause distress and often injury whilst placing a significant strain on the NHS.

Starting and finishing at Adams Park and covering a total distance of 26.2 miles, participants in the walk will have the choice to complete a half or full marathon through scenic areas of High Wycombe, whilst supporting a great local cause. To book your place on the walk, please click here!

A full programme of events for the day will be released in due course but expect a hive of activities, fitness classes, stadium challenges and a family BBQ to celebrate with our Ramble finishers. For more information, please email community@wwfc.com visit wycombewanderersfoundation.co.uk or telephone 01494 455736.

Please note: The registration fee is £20 for a half marathon and £25 for the full marathon, with a minimum fundraising pledge of £150. Participants are encouraged to collect donations from friends, family, and colleagues to help reach the fundraising goal.

Once the individual fundraising has been completed, you will be requested to submit the full amount via the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation Just Giving page by 14th July (click here).

As a charity we are heavily reliant on community donations and fundraising.

Thank you for your interest in contributing, anything you donate will 100% go directly back into your local community, increasing our reach and our impact.
