The Wycombe Wanderers Foundation in partnership with the Buckinghamshire New University are excited to offer this unique course for those looking to gain an academic qualification whilst gaining hands-on experience within a professional football sector setting. Roles in the football sector are incredibly competitive, combining the power of academic theory and the reality of face to face coaching students on the course will have the opportunity to work alongside our foundations professional coaches throughout the course. Upon completion of the degree you will have a valuable experience within the sector and additional qualifications alongside your degree to enhance your employment opportunities within the sector. This includes the possibility of gaining full-time employment with the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation or others.The course is 2 years with an additional and optional 1 year top up to convert the FDSc to a BSc (Hons) in sports coaching. This degree is designed to give you the student experience of university whilst at the BNU campus and a variety of workplace experiences across the foundation to turn the theory into practice. Lectures are delivered at Adams Park Stadium so you can enjoy the spectacular views of the pitch while you learn the theory. There will be opportunities to gain CPD and qualifications through The FA, Premier League and EFL and observe at our Elite Development Academies throughout your time with us.
