As the summer comes to an end at Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust we gear up for Autumn with a wide variety of different activities.

Our courses gift the chance for personal development, learning new skills, but most importantly having fun!


Sports Participation

Talent ID Days – The Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust (WWSET)’s Elite Development Academy (EDA) is back with a BANG, and we are now on the lookout for our next footballing superstar, does your player have what it takes?

We are currently recruiting for U6-U13’s outfield players, U7-U16’s goalkeepers (Boys/EDA) and U10-U16’s (Girls/GDA). For more information on this click here.

After-School football –  Our long running football packed sessions are back. The participants at the schools are coached by FA qualified coaches and learn new skills in a fun environment that encourages fun, if you’re interested email Andrew.homent@wwfc.com

Saturday Morning Club – Our course ensures a fun start to the weekend with lots of football matches, learning new skills and even prizes from our coaches, our friendly environment also gives the opportunity to make new friends. For more information click here.


Health

FIT Chairboys – is a highly successful 12 week programme which is aimed at men and women aged 35 to 65 year olds, with a waist size above 38 inches (for men) or 31 inches (for women), and a BMI of over 28 who are looking to lose weight, get fitter and lead a more active life. Age Uk Walking Football – Football at a slower pace. Brilliant chance for you to play the game of football, but to also make new friends and socialise, if you’re over 50 then click here to secure your place.

Keep Moving Forward – we strive to help our community and understand the huge demand for mental health recovery and prevention projects. We offer a well-being walk, and an allotment session call Grow. To sign up or for more information follow the page here.


Education

Premier League Primary Stars – Our Premier League Funded Premier League Primary Stars Programme (PLPS) is the Premier League’s flagship schools programme, aiming to provide sports teaching assistance in some form to all primary schools in England and Wales.These sessions are there to help improve the children’s literacy, numeracy and PSHE skills, while enhancing the teachers’ PE lessons. Future Goals –  focuses on positive engagement with young people who are in years 5 to 10.

The project specifically targets pupils who are disengaged with education, disruptive at school, and who outside of school may be:

· less inclined to complete homework

· are inactive

· have low self-esteem and self-worth

The practical delivery of WWSET’s Future Goals 2.0 Project centres around helping those children mentioned above, within the classroom and individually, to overcome their personal issues and challenges, therefore enabling them to flourish as they move forward. Social Inclusion

Premier League Kicks – The initiative offers free workshops and football and sports sessions to provide kids with the opportunities and support to reach their full potential. The programme encourages young people by getting them involved in constructive activities, such as a wide variety of sports, coaching projects, music, education and personal development.
