WWSET Seeking New ‘Head of Inclusion & Cohesion’

Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust (WWSET), the official charity of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, is seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced candidate to fill the role of Head of Inclusion & Cohesion.

Based at Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers FC, this is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team that is dedicated to engaging with as many people as possible in and around High Wycombe with the aim of using sport and the Wycombe Wanderers FC brand to assist people in reaching their full potential and help our local communities thrive.

The Head of Inclusion & Cohesion, who will also sit on WWSET’s Senior Management Team, will be the operational lead for our Inclusion & Cohesion Department and will be responsible for facilitating positive personal, social, physical and emotional development amongst programme/activity participants, plus increasing levels of social inclusion and community cohesion within High Wycombe and the surrounding areas. These outcomes will be achieved via the high-quality planning, practical delivery, management and expansion of a number of new and existing activities/programmes that focus on engagement with people of all ages who are:

·         Vulnerable/at risk of becoming involved in criminal behaviour, as well as those already committing offences;

·         Currently disengaged or isolated from their peers/community;

·         Struggling to achieve their potential due to the personal and/or social issues they face.
