WWSET Launch ‘Bike’ & ‘Hike’ Fundraising Challenges

Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust, the official charity of Wycombe Wanderers FC, are pleased to announce the launch of two exciting fundraising challenges scheduled to take place during 2022.

The first challenge is our “#StadiumToStadium Bike Ride” which will involve a sponsored cycle from Adams Park, the home of WWFC, to the Pirelli Stadium, home of Burton Albion. The 150+ mile ride is scheduled to take place on Friday 29th April to coincide with the Chairboys final league match of this season which takes place on Saturday 30th April.

The second fundraising event is our “24-Hour National 3-Peaks Challenge” which will take place on 18th June and will involve an attempt to summit the three highest peaks in the UK – Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales – all within 24 hours.

We are now actively looking for people to sign up to these events and in addition to setting yourself the personal goal of overcoming the physical and mental challenges involved, raising vital funds for WWSET which will allow us to continue delivering our diverse range of activities and projects, all of which benefit our local community in one or more of the following areas:

· Promoting health & wellbeing

· Contributing to social inclusion & community cohesion

· Providing education & employability opportunities

· Increasing participation in sport & physical activity
