Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust and tuition company My Own Tutor have come together to offer unique learning support and activity sessions for the young people of High Wycombe and the surrounding area. The partnership kicks off in June with maths and English learning support and ballet classes, with football coaching being added from September. All tuition and activity classes will be delivered by expert tutors, WWSET’s professional coaches and IDTA qualified dance teachers.
The partnership will provide a unique service to the area where children can have maths and English tuition followed by an activity in the same place at the same time every week. The service is designed to increase children’s academic and social skills post the pandemic by building a more active and nurturing environment.
Combined tuition and activity will take place every Wednesday from 8th of June from 4-6pm at Cressex Community School, with an additional tuition-only session being added every Saturday morning from 10-11am in the education suite at Adams Park, home of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club.
