Warm Hub Returns This January!

Let’s make this winter warmer, together.

If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming environment to relax and enjoy the company of other people, we’d like to invite you to the Warm Hub – a safe space designed to help our community thrive during the colder months. Whether you’re looking for a hot meal, new friendships, or just a few hours of comfort and connection, our sessions are here to make your winter a little brighter.

Last year, the Warm Hub served over 920 meals and brought smiles to dozens of faces. This year, we’re excited to welcome even more people into our growing community.

Huge thanks to our funding partner, Buckinghamshire Council’s Helping Hands campaign, who have made this project happen. We also want to give huge thank you to our supporters at High Wycombe’s Community Board.

The Warm Hub isn’t just about escaping the cold – it’s about embracing the warmth of community. Here’s how we’re making a difference:

What to Expect at the Warm Hub

Each session is designed to offer more than just a warm space. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Enjoy a wholesome hot meal.
  • Share good company and enjoy board games.
  • Meet new people and reconnect with others.
  • Relax in a warm, welcoming environment.
  • Get tips from local organisations on staying safe in colder temperatures, managing energy costs, and accessing local support.

When and Where

Join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 – 8pm at The Home of Wycombe Wanderers – Adams Park Stadium. Sessions run twice weekly from Tuesday 7th Jan to Thursday 27th March.

(Note: On Tuesday 7th, January 28th and March 4th, we’ll meet at Downley Community Centre, School Close, HP13 5TR.)

Whether you want to pop in for a chat or make it a regular part of your winter routine, the Warm Hub is open to all older adults in High Wycombe.

Bring a friend or come on your own – we’ll be here to welcome you with open arms and a warm meal.
