The magic of the FA Cup was alive and kicking in the last round of The FA Cup and on Sunday 26th October, it’s time for the First Round Proper!
The Chairgirls have battled their way into the First Round Proper for only the second time in their history and now they’re ready for their biggest test yet: a clash with Bridgwater United, a side sitting 4th in the league above.
After a thrilling cup run so far, the Chairgirls are full of belief. They started with a high-scoring victory over lower-league Wallingford, then produced a stunning comeback performance to knock out Chesham United, local rivals, who are also a team from the league above – proving that anything can happen in the FA Cup!
Now, with the First Round Proper upon us, Wycombe Wanderers Women are aiming to continue their fairy-tale run in front of a packed home crowd at The 1878 Stadium (Burnham FC) – just a short trip from Wycombe!
