At Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust (WWSET), we’re so happy to learn that one of our former Elite Development Academy players, Oscar, has signed for Premier League giants Crystal Palace Football Club.
Oscar has been apart of the WWSET’s Elite Development programme since he was at U6 level and since then the player has taken huge strides into improving his footballing ability under the watchful eyes of our coaches who have helped guide him to the player he’s today.
Lewis Bloom our Elite Development Academy manager spoke positively about Oscar’s first steps in his footballing journey since joining WWSET. ” Oscar has been training with our EDA groups now since joining us as an Under 6! It’s been a pleasure to work with him and fantastic to see him flourish as a player and as a person.”
He continued, “We are extremely proud to have played a pivotal role in the early stages of his development and goes to show the great work that our coaching team continue to deliver week-in, week-out. We look forward to seeing where this next step takes Oscar and we wish him all the very best of luck as he embarks on the next chapter of his footballing journey”.
Everyone on at WWSET would like to wish Oscar all the best at Palace and we will be sure to keep an eye out for his name on Soccer Saturday in the coming years.
