Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust (WWSET) would like to send a warm welcome to Simon Wears, who started his role as Head of Health this week, receiving the keys to the Health department from Claire Hawes who made the decision to step down last month.
Simon has joined WWSET following twelve years working for Berkshire & Buckinghamshire Football Association as the Football Development Manager. Having worked his way up from a Football Development Officer to Football Development Manager Simon also had several internal roles at The FA as futsal coordinator, national walking football committee member and Rainbow Laces campaign committee member.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys paddle boarding, surfing and cycling. He also volunteers for the Wave Project supporting children with mental health issues through surfing.
