New Roles Available Within WWSET!

Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust (WWSET), the charitable arm of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, is seeking two enthusiastic and innovative young people, aged 18-24, to fill the roles of ‘Community Health & Wellbeing Activator’ and ‘Education Support Officer’.

The ‘Community Health & Wellbeing Activator’ will play a leading role in maximising WWSET’s health & wellbeing related offerings by being responsible for supporting WWSET’s Head of Health in devising, developing, managing, and delivering numerous existing and new health programmes/ activities.

The ‘Education Support Officer’ will support our drive in local schools to deliver high quality Physical Education, Physical Activity and School Sport provision alongside our dedicated full-time teachers and coaches to provide an inspiring education offering to young people in our local community.

Both positions are paid employment and an opportunity to pick up valuable, transferable skills and experience within the health & wellbeing and sports & education sectors respectively. You will be supported through your personal development with additional training and mentoring and this will help build exit routes into further employment or education post-placement.

The ‘Community Health & Wellbeing Activator’ will be based at Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers FC, and the placement will be for 30 hours per week over a period of 39 weeks. The ‘Education Support Officer’ will be based at various local schools throughout the week as well as development days at Adams Park and the placement will be for 25 hours per week for a period of 26 weeks.
