Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust, the official charity of Wycombe Wanderers FC, are pleased to announce that we will offering a FREE Multisports Christmas Camp for children in years 3 – 6 on Monday 20th – Thursday 23rd December 2021.
The camp, which has been made possible by the generous funding available through the Holiday Activity Fund is exclusively available for children who receive free school meals during term time. The camp will consist of a range of fun sports and activities to enable children to try new things, develop new skills and make new friends. Each child will also receive a nutritious hot meal prepared for them daily and an activity bag to take home at the end of the camp. Furthermore, there may also be a very special visit from none other than Santa Claus himself and our very own Bodger!
The 4 day event will take place at the local Highcrest Academy secondary school, boasting a large indoor sports hall where the children will take part in our Winter Olympics!
Upon announcing the event, our Head of Education Mark Guildea commented:
“We are delighted to offer this completely free event to children in our local community where they can enjoy amazing activities planned by our professional teachers and coaches that will be sure to help them develop their physical literacy and make new friends. I am particularly proud of the positivity of our staff to offer such an great range of exciting activities that I know the children are going to love. And for parents – It’s a great time to go and get some of that last minute Christmas shopping done too!’
