Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust (WWSET) are pleased to announce the first of several exciting evolutions of our Friends of WWSET corporate fundraising package, which launched in September 2021, as the matchday programme exposure has been replaced with an advert on the big screen at Adams Park.
At the start of the 2021/22 season, Wycombe Wanderers Football Club announced that ‘Park Life’, the official matchday programme would be rebranded and overhauled. And sure enough, when the opening day of the new season came around, which saw Accrington Stanley come to HP12, the launch of the new ‘Blue Print’ magazine was met with rave reviews. To ensure you never missed a copy, you could buy the programme at Adams Park if you were in attendance, or have it sent to you.
However, on November 18th the club announced that the fixture vs Bolton Wanderers on the 20th November would be the final printed copy of the programme, and a new, improved digital package would be available. A game that the Chairboys would go on to win 1-0, courtesy of a looping Sam Vokes header and also saw a first clean sheet in over a month.
One of the many brilliant features within ‘Blue Print’ was the ‘Sports and Education Trust Update’ double spread. This was WWSET’s opportunity to get in front of Wycombe Wanderers fans and showcase the club’s work within the community. We were also able to show some love to some of our amazing partners and sponsors, without whose investment and commitment, we would not be able to do a lot of what we do.
This includes our Friends of WWSET, who are a collective of companies that joined us at the start of the season and share our commitment to improving the local community, and was publicly thanked every week in the Blue Print publication.
However, after a successful meeting with the club, WWSET is delighted to confirm that our Friends of WWSET partners will now be displayed on the big screen in two 30-second adverts – one before the game during the warm-ups, and one at halftime. This is to replace the piece in the programme, as promised within the Friends of WWSET package. A result that feels as great as watching Garath McCleary scream one into the top corner!
WWSET would like to place on record our thanks to Wycombe Wanderers Football Club for their continued support of the Friends of WWSET package.
