Fit Chairboys | July 2023

Fit Chairboy’s is a highly successful 12-week healthy lifestyle programme which is aimed at men aged 35 to 65 years old, with a waist size above 38 inches and a BMI over 28. The sessions start with 40 mins of engaging and interactive activities in the John Reardon Room. The second half of the session is followed by fun physical sessions.

Starting on Thursday 6th July 7 – 8:30pm, Wycombe Wanderers Foundation will be delivering a Fit Chairboy’s course at Adams Park. The Project is funded thanks to Heart Research UK (Healthy Heart grant), enabling the course to be FREE for ALL participants.

The last Fit Chairboy’s cohort, which began in January, ended in a huge success. Here are some the stats from the last group:

· A combined 40kg lost in weight.

· A combined 15cm lost off their waists.

· 100% cut down their intake of either crisps, cakes, chocolates or fizzy drinks.

“I’ve found it very informative and in a way I personally can understand. It’s an informal way of giving information to let the individuals decide how little or much they want to act on it and making us all accountable”.
