WWSET is delighted to announce that our friend Ian is fundraising for the charity by undertaking an incredible 100km ultra marathon in July!
Please help us get Ian in shape plus raise money by sponsoring his live workout session on June 25th entitled ‘Working out for children in and around care’.
The event is raising funds for Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust to enable us to deliver high-quality education and health & wellbeing projects which generate life-changing habits.
It’s a training session supported by Mark Sleight of Health Buddy Academy, where sponsors determine how many repetitions of each exercise Ian has to complete from the list below:
- Squats, Lunges, Crunches and Plank Jacks – £1/rep
- Power Squats, Press Ups (max 25) – £2/rep
- Burpees – £3/rep
- Russian Twist – £1/rep/kg (so 1 rep@5kg weight is £5)
- Plank – £1.50 for 10 secs
Please support Ian with his challenge and fundraising efforts as much as you possibly can – we appreciate money is tight for everybody at the moment but it’s for a really great, local cause. Here is a link to the Just Giving page and remember to say which exercises you are sponsoring and how many, as otherwise Mark decides for Ian!
WWSET Head of Education Mark Guildea had this to say about Ian’s kind support for WWSET:
“We are incredibly grateful to Ian for thinking of WWSET and the projects that we deliver to vulnerable young people in our community. Ian is an amazing ambassador for what we do with children in and around care and this fundraising event is a celebration of our partnership with Bucks Council. Please give generously to this great cause.”
