Chair Yoga adapts traditional yoga poses for a seated position, making it accessible for those with limited mobility, injuries, or those who need more support. Beneficial for anyone seeking to improve flexibility, strength, posture, and reduce stress through gentle movements, breath work, and modifications using a sturdy chair for stability. It involves seated stretches (like spinal twists, side bends), balance work (using the chair for support in poses like Tree Pose), and strengthening exercises (like squats or leg lifts), often focusing on deep breathing and core engagement, making it ideal for seniors, office workers, or anyone wanting a low-impact, therapeutic practice.  
 
Key Aspects & Benefits:
  • Support & Stability: The chair provides support for balance and reduces pressure on joints, perfect for seniors or those with balance issues.
  • Gentle & Therapeutic: Less strain on the body, helps relieve pain from prolonged sitting, improves blood flow, and promotes relaxation.
  • Full Body: Includes stretches for neck, shoulders, back, hips, legs, and core, plus breathing exercises.
