Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust (WWSET) are excited to announce that Warner Music Group have renewed their partnership with us, after signing up for the Friends of WWSET programme for the 2021/22 season.
Warner Music Group is an American multinational entertainment and record label conglomerate headquartered in New York City. It is one of the “big three” recording companies and the third-largest in the global music industry, alongside Universal Music Group (UMG) and Sony Music Entertainment (SME).
Formerly part of Time Warner (now WarnerMedia), WMG was publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange from 2005 until 2011, when it announced its privatization and sale to Access Industries. It later had its second IPO on Nasdaq in 2020, once again becoming a public company.
With a multibillion-dollar annual turnover, WMG employs more than 3,500 people and has operations in more than 50 countries throughout the world.
WWSET Head of Fundraising and Communications, Mark Fawkes, said of the partnership, “What an amazing partner to have for the new season of Friends of WWSET. To have a company the size of the Warner Music Group is an exciting venture, and the fact that they renewed from last season is a sign that we have put together a really competitive package for our partners. It will be exciting to keep in touch with them and see what we can achieve together.”
The Friends of WWSET package was relaunched for the 2021/22 season in August 2021, and we are thrilled to have Warner Music Group on board. Keep your eyes peeled to the WWSET communications channels for further updates on their activities.
The Friends of WWSET programme is now open to creative and forward-thinking companies in the High Wycombe area. For more information, or to sign your company up, click here
