Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust, the official charity of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, are pleased to announce that bookings for our inaugural (and FREE!) Foot Golf Tournament are now live.
The tournament, which takes place on Sunday 23rd August 2020 at the picturesque Lane End Conference Centre, is for anybody in years 6 -11 during the 2020-21 academic year.
Kindly supported by LEAP, the Active Partnership for Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes, the aim of the tournament is to allow local young people the opportunity to take part in some fun physical activity, which, with the help of WWSET staff, will hopefully encourage them to take part in further activity moving forwards. To satisfy this aim, all participants will be given priority booking access for the upcoming WWSET Premier League Kicks season starting on Wednesday 2nd September. Our free to attend Kicks sessions are delivered at three locations around High Wycombe and due to COVID-19 related current restrictions on participant numbers are almost certain to be fully booked quickly so this is a great way to guarantee yourself a place.
The foot golf tournament format will involve groups of either 2 or 3 friends playing the round together, and along the way there’ll be the chance to win individual prizes in the longest drive and closest to the pin competitions.
Group tee-off times are available every 10 minutes between 10.00am and 3.00pm. You will be able to select your tee-off time on the booking page and each round will last approximately 60-90 minutes.
All you need to do is get together a minimum of two and a maximum of three players and sign up online (see link below).
